Band Camp
Rock Scholars Band Camp is the best thing to do in the school holidays for young musicians and singers. Band Camp is for young people that can already sing or play a musical instrument and want to take their music to the next level by performing with a band. Based on the highly respected Rock Scholars Band Program, Band Camp is an intensive four day experience during which participants will play, practise and write songs with their new band mates. The camp ends with a live performance when all participants will get the opportunity to jump up on stage and play to an audience of family and friends.
Our next camp will run in the July 2024 school holidays.
Band Camp takes place at Rock Scholars’ fully equipped premises in Osborne Park where we provide everything you’ll need to get the most out of the experience - soundproof studios; all musical instruments including drum kits, guitars and microphones; a live performance space where you can practice your stage craft; and expert tuition from some of Perth’s most exciting musicians, who all hold current Working With Children clearance.
Band Camp is most suitable for young musicians aged 11-17 years. Places are limited to ensure we offer a personal, high quality experience.
Please note - it is not an overnight experience, it is a 4 day, daytime only event.
