Meet Our Mentors & Tutors
At Rock Scholars, our mentors and tutors are all active musicians in the Perth music scene, bringing a wealth of real-world experience and technical knowledge to every lesson and rehearsal.
Many of our tutors are also graduates of the Rock Scholars program, giving them a unique perspective on what it means to learn, grow, and perform as a young musician.
🎓 Professional, Passionate and Qualified
Our band mentors are experienced multi-instrumentalists
Many hold formal music qualifications from WAAPA and other leading tertiary institutions
All staff hold current Working With Children Checks
We hand-pick our team not just for their skills, but for their ability to connect with and inspire young artists
Whether they’re teaching drums, guiding a band through songwriting, or helping a student prep for their first gig, our mentors lead with enthusiasm, empathy, and musical know-how.
